Ola (Walnut)

In designing Ola, I strove to create a light object that was both high tech and handmade. The design process incorporates digital manufacturing via 3d printing, as well as more traditional techniques such as resin casting and hand lamination.

For the Ola wood series, each base is laminated with real birch or walnut veneers. The shade is cast resin that is hand-polished to a matte finish. The result is a warm almost candle-like glow that is soft to the touch. Unlike mass-produced luminaires which use hollow plastic shells, Ola's diffuser gives it a noticeable weight. 

Ola's dimming feature is analog in nature - simply rotate the shade to your desired effect. Ola is cordless and can be charged via a wireless charger (included). Offered in a variety of handmade designs, Ola is truly as unique as the moments in your life. 

*Please note: Ola (Walnut) is laminated by hand with real walnut veneer. Every attempt will be made to select a veneer with character and contrast. Each Ola comes with a wireless charger, USB-C charger cord and outlet power adapter.
